@WestEndCassidy While the article suggests the memorial is being relocated to accommodation reconstruction of Portage & Main, it should be noted the new owners of the historic BMO building were not in favour of its reinstallation.
@JustinTrudeau Call for the disarming of Hezbollah! THAT will lead to a ceasefire.
You did not call for a ceasefire during the unprovoked 11 month missile attack on northern Israel.
This time they will stop when the job is done.
@stphnmaher If these people were involved with the Canadian Embassy I see nothing wrong with ensuring people were evacuated regardless of their beliefs, culture or ethnicity.
@brent_bellamy WFP article is incorrect. Only 27.3% +/- of Winnipeg voters were in favour of keeping P&M closed. All others voted to open the intersection or did not voice a preference. That’s a far cry from 65% in favour of keeping it closed as stated in the article.
@bkives Love the building, love new housing but this will be “Police Station / Post Office 201”. If we can’t get St Regis or Portage Place figures out, how can The Bay miraculously resolve itself? 200 million may not even be enough. No realty taxes to be paid. More thought needed please.
@centreventure @RealCdnSS@loblawco@GalenWestonJr Worry about the Gang Tag on the hoarding and what it means instead of a community builder like the Weston Charities and how they help inner city families.
@centreventure @RealCdnSS@loblawco@GalenWestonJr Loblaws donates tens of millions to communities across the country. Your being petty. What are you investing in this project? And when did you buy it?
@CanEmbJapan@CdnHeritage I took a picture by the flag at my visit to the embassy! The Inuit collection is very special as well as Waren Carther’s wall of sculptured glass! Thank you so much for your hospitality during my visit.
