PayPal wants to quietly sneak back into Africa and Nigeria like nothing happened. I literally cried when PayPal closed an account we used in 2022 to collect Bet9ja and Betano ad revenue almost $1,000 gone just like that. A friend of mine lost $4,000.

Back then, I rejected a lot of gigs simply because PayPal was the only payment option. I would rather stay jobless than work and have PayPal eventually swallow the money.

You can’t treat us like garbage and then walk back into our lives as if nothing happened. Boycott PayPal. We don’t want them. We’ve moved on.

Another terrible platform is Payoneer. You receive funds, and then they start requesting documents that an average individual in Nigeria can’t easily obtain. In the end, you’re basically forced to leave the money stuck in the account.
