📽️ From Donald Trump to Britain's wind power trade body, there's a growing coalition calling for more drilling in the North Sea.
Raising the question: if we DID encourage more exploration, how much oil & gas could we actually get?
Our MEGA primer on the North Sea👇
Ps it's longer than usual, but it turns out this topic has SO MANY misconceptions. Time to put some of them right.
Let me know what you think
Labour has just agreed to pay over £1 MILLION A DAY! to Drax! So they can burn wood pellets!
Forests are stripped, pellets are shipped halfway across the world, and the CO₂ goes straight into the sky. Brilliant 🤡
Me ranting in link.
Taxes
OH …UNITED KINGDOM
This is very interesting.
If I give you £1 billion and you stand on a street corner handing out £1 per second, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, you would still not have handed out £1 billion after 31 years!
Now read on. This is true and rather hard to really understand.
The next time you hear a politician use the word 'billion' in a casual manner, think about whether you want the 'politicians' spending YOUR tax money.
A billion is a difficult number to comprehend, but one advertising agency did a good job of putting that figure into some perspective in one of its releases.
1. A billion seconds ago, it was 1959.
2. A billion minutes ago, Jesus was alive.
3. A billion hours ago, our ancestors were living in the Stone Age.
4. A billion days ago, no-one walked on the earth on two feet.
5. A billion Pounds ago was only 13 hours and 12 minutes, at the rate our present government is spending it.

STILL THINK THIS IS FUNNY?
Not one of these taxes existed 60 years ago, and our nation was one of the most prosperous in the world.
We had absolutely no national debt.
We had the largest middle class in the world. A criminal’s life was uncomfortable. What on earth happened?
LABOUR – This is the most authoritarian and incompetent government in living memory. They are intent on forcing people to do as they are told and speak as they are told.
Rather than tackle the bankrupt state of the nation by cutting benefits, aid, net zero, and dependent migration, they are doubling down on a vision of equality of outcome! The ideology of communism.
Meaning those who strive to better themselves will be no better off than those who would rather someone else pay for their lives.
And to control the masses, as the available resources shrink they will force compliance through surveillance and punishment.
We’re witnessing the greatest assault on freedom and personal finances in modern times, possibly since the medieval era.
In my entire lifetime, I’ve never known a period where the national mood and confidence in the UK is as low as it is today. So many people are beaten down by high prices, stealth taxes, petty rules, terrible infrastructures and declining community spirit. It’s horrendous.
🚨 Britain could run out of drinking water in 15 years.
The Government’s plan?
2 new reservoirs — by 2040.
Meanwhile:
💧 No major reservoir in 34 years
👥 Population up 11.8 million
💰 Water firms paid out £78 BILLION to shareholders.
This isn’t just failure - it's national negligence.
The UK has the highest industrial electricity prices in Europe. We are being fleeced. A combination of terrible government policies on energy and corporate greed.
🌤️ A bit of sunshine and we’re told to expect droughts.
But here’s the real scandal:
💧 No major reservoir built in 34 years
👥 Population up 11.8 million
💰 Water firms pocket billions in profits
This isn’t about the weather — It’s decades of failure.
DRAX - The “renewable” wood-burning power station is the biggest single source of carbon emissions in the UK.
Has made record £1.1billion profit because we gave them nearly £1 BILLION in subsidies
6.5 million tonnes of wood pellets burned each year & mainly come from Drax's 17 pellet plants in the US and Canada.
It is also a massive supporter of LABOUR and increased ‘Green policies’ because it means more subsidies.
Shh … it’s only 300 million trees 🤡
ELECTIONS - Lib Dem MP Wera Hobhouse has sponsored a report from Migrant Democracy Project,
It would give the vote to 4.4 million migrants living in the UK, regardless of their legal status.
Stay with me … it means those here ILLEGALLY, would be LEGALLY entitled to vote 🤡
“Keir…I have a brilliant idea. We are surrounded by natural energy resources, but let’s ignore that and buy £40 billion of oil and gas from Norway, which comes from the same sea that we share with them. Let’s spend £11.6 billion on overseas climate aid. Let’s end new coal mining licenses and spend millions of pounds for foreign coal to keep Britain's last steel plant running. Also, let’s plaster solar panels on farmland, but also spend £50 million on sun dimming experiments. We will do this in a country that has the fifth least annual sunlight hours. And we will end up with the most expensive industrial electricity prices in the developed world. Genius huh? Lol.”
“This is the way we have got to go, we have no choice, it’s for the Climate”
Britains own Energy Secretary Ed Miliband, who is bankrupting Britain for Net Zero, doesn’t even have an Electric Car Himself ‼️
He also Flies in Private Jets.
See how this all works?
Outrageous. The British state is now taking away even more homes for hardworking, tax-paying Britons and instead giving them to illegal immigrants who break our laws. These people should be deported -not put in private housing at the taxpayers’ expense https://t.co/aUiyZsVaub
China emits more carbon than the rest of the developed world combined. The UK has less than 1% of the global total carbon emissions and the UK government spends £30bn on carbon capture machines, plaster farmland with solar panels and spend £50m on experiments to dim the sun.
