I had no clue, the modern hoodie was invented in Rochester NY .. I love hoodies. The hooded sweatshirt, a workingman's garment long popular with kids of all ages, has taken on different meanings, including one associated with sinister activity.

Although true, we have our hoodie wearing criminal element, for sure.
