#AAA can often go undiagnosed until patients end up in a life-threatening situation. This is what happened with Michael, who presented in the ER with extreme pain that was found to be caused by an 11cm AAA. Further examination revealed that his aneurysm was characterized by a short neck and significant neck angulation. Newly published 3-year data for the #DETOURSystem support its role as a minimally invasive approach in patients with complex SFA disease.

The DETOUR2 trial was comprised of patients with a mean lesion length of 32.7 cm, 96% chronic total occlusions, and 70% severely calcified lesions.
