I was honoured to rise today to recognize May as Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month.
Throughout the coming month, I urge all Parliamentarians to help raise awareness and act now to improve #LifeWithMS for over 77,000 Canadians.
Together, we'll find a cure.
*to the tune of Destiny's Child's "Say My Name"*
SPELL MY NAME, SPELL MY NAME
IT'S RIGHT THERE IN THE EMAIL
IT'S NOT A HIDDEN DETAIL
THE SPELLING DOESN'T CHANGE
Today I watched a man DIE in the waiting room of the Dartmouth general. HE DIED WHILE WAITING TO SEE A DOCTOR. If that’s not a sign NS needs to step it up with the health care I don’t know what is. RIP to this poor man and condolences to his family 😢
I am a teacher. Arm me. Arm me with funding for a full time school Psychologist. Arm me with funding and mandatory school counselors. Arm me by funding smaller class sizes so I can best get to know every one of my 160 students and their families. Arm us with what we NEED.
