My wife and oldest daughter were whaling in pain. Koda, you will be missed but never forgotten. You forever filled our hearts with love and joy. We have so many great memories.
RIP Koda — 4/20/09 - 6/24/21 (4/4)
I’ve been debating about sending this but I want to memorialize the best dog I’ve ever known. We found out yesterday that our sweet Koda was very sick with cancer and arthritis. My wife and I had to make a decision based on our love for her and what was best for her. (1/4)
But I just plain wasn’t. I never imagined that I wouldn’t be able to get the words out to tell her how much she meant to me and this family in her last seconds of life. As I held her lifeless body in my hands I could not speak. I was so overrun with emotion and sadness. (3/4)
It was humanity, not just sportsmanship, that took center-stage this past weekend.
