Former #Braves prospects @jbrigham49 (opening day starter for Kiwoom Heroes) and @melrojasjr (hitting .457 so far for KT Wiz) finding success in South Korea. Caught up with both as KBO's return to play getting lots of attention: https://t.co/tpRH2uXpZg
Ok, I’m now 100% convinced that old juiced balls are back. Oppo HRs at Jamshil stadium are rare. Already 2 in 6 games. Good hitting by Ramos, but this would have been an out last year. #KBO
Talked to former #Braves pitcher @jbrigham49, now with the Kiwoom Heroes in South Korea. Asked him the question on the mind of many baseball fans in the US ... who should we root for in the #KBO?? He says the Heroes, the @Athletics of SK ... but Lotte Giants fans sound like fun
So proud of @taybrigham and how awesome she did!! Welcome to the world Sloan!!! Daddy loves you so much!! Great job @taybrigham I love you!!! https://t.co/YHepZtUGCn
If you're in Korea, I encourage u to get involved. Whether it be adopting, volunteering @ an orphanage, financial aid for single mothers. Simply trying to help those in need of a family or helping to keep one together is something I hope you can experience on this Adoption Day
I was adopted and grew up in a loving home and now have a family of my own (my very own blood relatives!!!!!). While I know that I was a very blessed and fortunate, there are others that were not and some still aren't in Korea as they are waiting to be adopted.
I'm ok with not being able to find out a lot of info about her. But wherever she is, I just want to let her know on this Adoption Day that although it must've been one of the most difficult decisions to place me in the orphanage, I'm forever thankful for her giving birth to me.
My first trip back to Korea was in 1999 with a group of other adoptees. Over the years I've only tried simple searches for my mother and most recently was told the local gov't office had no info since she gave no registration number and thus unable to track down.
I was adopted from Korea when I was 4 months old (see pic). I was born on November 7, 1979 in Seoul. According to my file, I recently found out that my mother's name is 이명숙 (Lee Myung-sook) and she was born in 1959; my father passed away in a car accident on October 23, 1979
Happy birthday to my best friend in the whole world!!! @taybrigham hope Stella and Cope made it a special day. I miss you and love you. https://t.co/soiOg6wNoc
