Sandra MacDougall, Biology instructor at RDP, has been awarded a $474,700 grant to amplify black bear research. Research that creates unique opportunities for students, like Meggie & Kyle who have conducted kill site investigations, located bear dens, collected scat samples, etc.
Research shows that while many people know about #conservation issues, they often don’t know how to make a difference. New findings from @jbueddefeld and the Toronto Zoo highlight that a dialogic approach is highly effective in promoting behaviour change.
