@LiamT30EFC Would be good if he popped back on the social media he was so quick to jump on though and talk about said mistake no?! If not, gobshite. Not to be booed but can’t condemn those that do.
The irony of a City fan talking about spending is wild when Sir Alex broke the transfer record three times, while Pep is the greatest chequebook manager ever & isn't some underdog story - he's a born front runner.
No team besides Celtic or Rangers have won the title in Scotland since Sir Alex's Aberdeen did it 40 years ago & they won 3 titles in 6 seasons. When Pep does the equivalent of winning a European trophy with a Scottish club, please come talk to me.
Sir Alex built Manchester United from the ground up into a gargantuan super club, rebuilt them time & again & they are still far bigger than City more than a decade after his retirement & he didn't have to participate in the biggest cheating scandal in football history to do it.
English clubs didn't have the financial power then that they have now, Spain & Italy were packed with talent & attracted players England couldn't, Manchester United won the Treble with a side stacked with Academy kids, not one of the most expensive sides ever assembled.
Forgive me if I don't take the opinion of someone who outrage baits with statements like this seriously & was in primary school when Sir Alex retired. Wearing kits from an era you didn't experience doesn't mean you can speak on them with any authority. Be quiet.
Richard Masters here describing 9 time league winners Everton and 2 time European Cup winners Notts Forest as ‘small clubs’ tells you everything you need to know. What an absolute clown.
@Brad_Hogg Such an odd take. An authority figure in the game he’s played since a young kid. giving instructions…should that not be enough? So pathetic.
