@JomboyMedia He's hitting .175 this year, getting paid 25 million this year. His contract runs another 7 years, and he'll be paid another 273 million from 2027 to 2033 (39 million a year, starting next year).
Yikes.
@LeahRain77 I don't tip restaurants unless I sit down at a table and have a server take my order and bring me my food. No tip for takeout orders, and no fast food tipping. I am done.
@Super70sSports True. I was about 10 years old. There was even a song made about this, part of which had lyrics that proposed J.R.'s baby was the trigger man (in jest, of course).
@LinstrumJ53505@OleTimeHardball Starters and Offense were great on those teams, but the Braves kept trotting out terrible closers. Until Wohlers in 1995, the Braves playoff teams had suspect bullpens.
@HistorianUSA1 Ignore mom's antics. Review the application, interview him, and ask him in the interview if he knew his Mom called on his behalf. Hire him if he is qualified, but with the understanding he tells his Mom to butt out--no more calls from her ever.
@imkiddingrelax1@washghost1 Calm down. Hyperbole is a figure of speech that uses extreme, deliberate exaggeration to make a point, evoke strong emotions, or add humor. It is never meant to be taken literally.
@james_xond 15, officially. But I did lawn care when I was 11 years old for the neighbors and it was regular work every week, then I did pet-sitting and babysitting for other neighbors.
@KhanSaba1278 I could see 8 am being a little too early. But anything 9 am or after is fair game. This was probably a big job that took several hours, & you only get so much daylight. I doubt this happens all the time, either.
Take a nap later, Mr. Lazy.
@andreagail_k@Logically_JC It's amazing that every other first-world country on planet Earth is able to provide universal healthcare for it's citizens. And don't give me the "gotta wait 6 months to have surgery" crap. I know people who lived in Canada and had zero complaints with their healthcare system.
