The quality of this is unreal. (literally unreal, I could do without the 60fps, but really nice restoration nonetheless)
Music like this shows me why bluegrass reigns supreme in my musical tastes. As I've grown up and watched the desecration of my farm and hometown from what it used to be, this music provides an understanding that other genres can't.

Speaking on the personnel's timing, and our own innate rhythm from within the heart, Hartford says, "...and when music is at its most rhythmical or 'cookinest', it has a greater effect on people and people usually think of it as being 'straight from the heart'".
@alan_seals At 24bit / 192kHz, digital audio may as well be analog. The human ear can not distinguish any difference from what I've read. Now put it onto a peice of plastic and it will sound different. Better or worse might be a personal preference
@alan_seals I listen to both digital and analog, and the warmth in vinyl is undeniable to me. Obviously MoFi is fucked for not mentioning this at all, but I will still buy the records haha
Tonight, I'm spinning Shady Grove which may be the album that best represents Jerry Garcia. David Grisman and he rip through a number of traditionals, including this gem.
