The guy that started buying multifamily in the 80s, still works, never sold, probably worth $500M, snowbirds in Naples, drives an old F-150.
vs.
The finance bro who decided to start syndicating in 2020, made $3M in fees, lost capital, quit, now selling courses on RE investing.
A lie:
The harder you work, the more you get paid.
The truth:
Rich people play golf and vacation while their assets make them way more money than the people who work really hard.
Wealthy people use their money and their assets to make them more money while they do whatever they want.
The lesson:
Own something that makes you money while you sleep.
Real estate. Equity in a private company. Stocks.
Something that can appreciate without much or any of your time.
If you don't you'll end up only trading your time for money and punching a clock for 40 hours a week or more for the rest of your life so you can collect enough money to get by and hopefully build some savings.
This is definitely easier said than done, but it's the truth and it's where you want to be as you grow in your life and career.
.@Jason said 10+ times that he only knew Epstein in the 90s. He was actually helping Epstein through the 2000s and 2010s, even after the child sex trafficking conviction.
Man starts VR company, donates to Trump: "Total moron, no moral compass!"
Man rapes children: "hey pal!"
If your kid is good enough to play Division 1 sports, they will be the best player on the court or field every single game (other than rare exceptions).
They will start - and excel - as a freshman.
If that’s not happening, time for a dose of reality.
Well, it took many wasted hours of my time and likely a large fee from my tax people to help IRS figure out that “Yes”, I did pay my 2024 Federal Income taxes in full and on time and so “No” there is no penalty due. While fraud by illegals and crooks barrels along.
Repeal The Sixteenth Amendment!!!!
NEW: 60 Minutes does a special on 'Chessboxing,' where chessboxers go back and forth between boxing and chess until there's a checkmate or knockout.
The sport is popular in Russia but is starting to gain popularity in the United States.
"Most people, on the surface, when they hear about chess boxing, they think that the battleground is the chess board or the boxing ring. And it is. You have to be good at both," said USA coach Matt Thomas.
"But the real battlefield is the minute in between the rounds."
Professional chess player from Michigan, James Canty III, recently won the super heavyweight final to become the new super heavyweight chess boxing champion of the world.
Wild.
A 30-year fixed mortgage is basically a long-dated call option on inflation.
You borrow dollars today, lock the rate, and repay in nominal terms.
If inflation explodes, your debt evaporates in real terms while your house price soars.
You’re long the house, short the dollar.
Fighting against the government has historically been a bad idea
The admin is doing lots of things to make inflation roar (50 yr loans, $2k stimmies, lower rates, etc)
Real Assets + long term fixed rate debt in structure with no tax on exit seems like a good idea…
Wow.
JPMorgan is launching a $1.5 Trillion initiative to boost critical industries in America:
“It has become painfully clear that the United States has allowed itself to become too reliant on unreliable sources of critical minerals, products and manufacturing.” -Jamie Dimon 🇺🇸
