Punch list stuff nobody wants to mess with.
Everybody wants the $50k remodel.
Meanwhile, there are guys quietly stacking $500–$2,000 jobs every day with almost no overhead and minimal tools.
Get good. Be reliable. Answer the phone. Show up when you say you will.
One man band can earn a cushy $1,000 a day, build a $250k income after expenses, work about 10 months out of the year, and never touch a massive project.
There’s a lot of money hiding in the “small stuff.” That most homeowners and companies aren’t willing to touch.

Taking an extended hiatus from the construction grind was the best decision imaginable. For 2 years I’ve just been maintaining my rental properties, mowing a lot of grass, and doing fun little projects for select long-time customers. 10/10 recommend if you can pull it off
Rolled to 10/09, the week before next earnings report. I plan to roll again to take advantage of elevated earnings IV.
If I keep the shares for another 6 weeks it would become a LT holding, which for me is a rare accomplishment🙏
