@AshleyShowalte2 @bobpockrass This is some of the biggest NASCAR news of the season, and the fact that the sport’s most popular driver had no idea it even happened is not a great look. When you’re the face of the sport, you’d expect a little more awareness and engagement. He just seems to lack interest.

@KanzaMizzou @DirtyMoMedia And you thought Brian France and Jim France were doing a good job? Brian tried to grow the sport, by turning his back on its roots and certainly leading the sport down a wrong path. Jim was just very out of touch with today’s NASCAR. Steve has done a nice job so far

@jeff_gluck When fans join the sport, they typically like a driver, but when that driver retires or is no longer in the sport, sometimes it’s harder to have the same passion for any given driver, but still love the sport and continue to watch

@Kenny_Wallace Loved him behind the wheel, but having him on NASCAR Race Day and Victory Lane with you and John Roberts was some of the best television. That’s when NASCAR was at its peak ratings wise

@DirtyMoMedia @jamiemcmurray What was it like having Jimmy Spencer as a teammate at the end of 2002 while filling in for Sterling? Did you guys get along or was the writing on the wall he probably wasn’t going to be back with Ganassi and maybe wasn’t as engaged during that time period?

@jeff_gluck Sounds like it was a great race, but sorry I cannot vote that it was a good race because it ended at 2am. Three Sunday night races in a row is ridiculous.

@TNTSportsUS @NASCAR Thank you once again for these late night, Sunday starts. Now I’m going to miss the end because it is 9 PM on the East Coast and some of us have work in the morning. You can blame the weather and that’s fine but it’s part of it. Start these races earlier

@jeff_gluck Yes, very good race. My older friends do not like TNT’s late start times. My friends and I get together every week to watch with some adult beverages. Because of the later start times and us being on the east coast, we aren’t getting together these 3 races. They are very upset.

@DirtyMoMedia Bowman Gray is a disgrace to all of racing. Someone’s going to get killed with all this nonsense that goes on there every week. I don’t know how it hasn’t happened more than it has already.

@FreddieKraft @dustinlong Contracts eventually expire or eventually can be amended. Why do we still feel the need to have two exhibition races? There’s to much money and time invested in the sport. either figure out a way to combine them into one as a promotional race or go with 38 point paying races.

@DirtyMoMedia Yes, need to be back at Rockingham. I'm ok with going to Phoenix or Kansas once a year. I'm ok with combining both exhibition races too. We don't need two of them.

@newusername704 @FWRobbins45 Yes, Jimmy was the last driver to wear one full-time in 2004. By 2005 he had to make the switch.
