@SmarterSig You’ve also commented often on youth football despite England U21’s winning their last 2 tournaments . Can’t you just accept we are a very good footballing nation??
@SmarterSig I don’t bet on football & it’s not relevant.
I strongly fancied England because I really rate Tuchel & Croatia has an ageing & fairly 1 dimensional team
My point remains that you opinion on English football is at least 20 years out of date
@SmarterSig My point is , despite Englands very good record in the last 10 years in major tournaments , the fact they qualified , without conceding a goal, the fact that all ages are winning major tournaments you still think England are shit. It’s just a bit weird
**Positive outlook update
Another very entertaining match. England performance full of promise. Great story from DR Congo. Stars all performing well. Referees letting games flow.
All good.

Gone a bit old school since I started back on May 10th.
Tipped in all 7 races, 8 bets.
3 won : Bow Echo - evens
Map of Stars - 7/1
Daquiri Bay - 7/1
2 placed: 16/1 & 12/1
Best of luck tomorrow :-)

Drop me a message if you want to get involved for both Royal Ascot & rest of the season
*positive World Cup tweet alert!!
Is it me or are the referees letting the game flow this World Cup. A lot of petty fouls that would have normally have resulted in a free kick are rightly being ignored. Refreshing.
Jeez! It seems like the world just wants a good old whinge. Lee Dixon, hydration breaks, referees, American stadiums , 7-1 shit, 0-0 shit.
Personally I’m quite enjoying it all
Having started Euro 88 with a loss to Ireland in their opening match, England had no margin for error against the Dutch, who had also lost their opening game to the USSR.
Ruud Gullit was the name on everyone’s lips and was widely tipped as the man to watch.
However, on 15/06/1988, it was his AC Milan team-mate Marco van Basten who stole the headlines with a devastating hat-trick.
His performance was immaculate. England were heading for an early exit, while the Dutch kept alive their dreams of European glory.
@Davidj0hnson123 Don’t worry. The group stages were always going to be a bit perfunctory( I’ve actually enjoyed most of the matches) but like the Champions league you’ll forget it all when you get cracking knockout matches
I’ve decided not to have any bets at all during this World Cup. Just think it detracts rather than enhances any emotion. Imagine betting Germany to win to nil then getting annoyed when Curacao get a heart lifting , emotional goal & it pisses you right off.
