@pud354 Ah the first tap is in the house yard and the Friesian bull got out into the house yard. Sneaky fella has learnt to use his horns to unlatch gates.
I thought the second tap would be safe as it's protected by solid horse rail fencing, but don't let that stop a determined bull ๐คฃ
At the farm for the weekend. Lots to do. 11,500 steps already and have 3 more hours of chores.
Found a broken tap in the yard and had to fix that. Turned the bore back on.
Fed the cows, sheep, chickens, and we have 4 new baby chicks!
time to install pallet racking in container.
@pud354 Get this. Two bulls in adjacent pens were having a fight through the fence and snapped off another tap last night. Luckily I was here and fixed that one ๐คฃ๐คฃ
@pud354 Haha nah. That wasn't it. The rain has been consistent for 2 weeks.
First week of tropical storms. 300mm
Last week was less 150mm but was constant drizzle for the week. No sun so nothing dried.
At least it kept the troughs full for a few days til I got here to fix the taps
Was a good day yesterday for the old step count. 19,489
The kicker, this was while carrying Bailes of hay, pushing wheelbarrows through deep mud and losing my boots to the mud because of the suction. Lol
So it wasn't just a walk, but a struggle and whole body workout ๐คฃ๐คฃ
Two bulls were fighting and broke another tape off. Ffs. Fixed that.
Hit my record for walking. 18,000 steps in one day.
Didn't even choose to go on a walk. The km aren't really correct since the GPS doesn't like short back and forth trips.
