🚨Sergio Ramos on Lo Celso’s sensational goal for Real Betis being disallowed for a handball by Juan Hernández against Barcelona:
🗣️ Sergio Ramos: “I’ve seen robbery in football before, but this is a discovery. You will say it was a handball, others will say it was a sensational goal. But let me take you back to where the referee went back to.
“He went back 1 minute and 15 seconds before the goal to find a handball. One minute and fifteen seconds! The attack had developed, the finish was incredible, and the players were celebrating before someone decided to look back that far to cancel it.
“I have no problem with a referee blowing for handball. My problem is the timing. Why wasn’t the game stopped when it happened? Why wait 75 seconds, allow the attack to continue, and only then decide that an incident from earlier should cancel the goal?
“VAR was supposed to correct clear mistakes, not make every goal feel like it needs a criminal investigation. Lo Celso scored a sensational goal, and instead of discussing his technique and the quality of the finish, we are arguing about something that happened more than a minute earlier.
“Betis will feel hard done by, and I understand why. Imagine scoring a goal like that only to have it taken away after celebrating. And when you see Real Madrid complain about Barcelona and refereeing decisions, people say we are making excuses. But situations like this are exactly why these questions keep coming up.
“I’m not saying Barcelona should be blamed for the referee’s decision. I’m asking for consistency and common sense. If this decision was correct, explain it properly. Because if we keep taking moments like this away from football, one day we will look back and realise we have taken the magic out of the game.”

“I thought only Barbra Streisand could truly sing Woman in Love—until I heard this. Her version set an almost impossible standard, but this performance is something special.
∂f/∂x keeps every variable but one perfectly still.
Fix y at a constant b and the surface z = f(x, y) collapses to an ordinary curve in the plane y = b. The slope of the tangent line to that curve at x = a is precisely the partial derivative
∂f/∂x (a, b) = lim_{h→0} [f(a+h, b) − f(a, b)] / h.
The companion limit, with x held fixed, yields ∂f/∂y. Together they record how the surface tilts when motion is allowed in only one coordinate direction at a time. The same construction extends at once to any number of variables: each partial freezes all but one argument and reduces the question to single-variable calculus.
The notation ∂ itself, distinguishing these restricted rates from the total derivative, became standard in the nineteenth century after earlier work by Clairaut and Euler on functions of several variables.

Great introduction to scientific 3D visualization.
12 months ago, this wasn't possible.
Look at it now.
A CFO can drop a P&L into Claude and get a variance commentary back written in the tone of their last board pack.
A controller can paste a 40-page lease contract and have the IFRS 16 treatment drafted before lunch.
An FP&A lead can describe a scenario in plain English and watch a three-statement model take shape in minutes.
This is happening in finance teams right now.
Here are 30 prompts CFOs are already using with Claude 👇
—
But here's what nobody tells you:
The output is only as good as what you put in.
Claude needs three things to actually help a finance leader:
1️⃣ Context
Your business model. Your KPIs. Your reporting structure.
The more Claude knows about how you operate, the sharper the output.
2️⃣ Clean inputs
Real data. Real numbers. Real documents.
Drop in the actual P&L, the actual contract, the actual board deck — not a summary.
3️⃣ Specific prompts
"Make me a forecast" gets you nothing.
"Build a 13-week cash flow forecast based on this AR aging and AP schedule, flag weeks where cash dips below $500K" — that gets you a tool you can actually use.
—
And security.
The enterprise version of Claude doesn't train on your data.
Your financials stay yours.
This is the part most CFOs are still hesitant about —
and the part that's already been solved.
My question is:
If this is what's possible today what does the CFO role look like 12 months from now?
Save the 30 prompts. Test a few this week.
If you want these prompts, just drop a comment and I’ll send it to you.
