I just read the complete works of Aristotle cover to cover and there isn't a SINGLE citation ANYWHERE. That settles it. Philosophy is a fake discipline.

@dudelbem Curso de direito do insper, eg, tem uns 5 anos só. A grade deles nem sequer tem filosofia do direito, não aparece no topo dos rankings. Pode vir a se tornar top, mas hoje não tá no topo, nem perto.

@BrandonWarmke I don’t think people really understand how academic philosophy works.

When you are at a certain level, you don’t need 20 references at each paragraph — eg, the opening page of a book on moral realism by Matthew H Kramer. Clear writing and references when needed:
