@MiguelDelaney I don't disagree as a pure footballer in the same way as I see Maradona as the best ever but as in my previous tweet they are very different stylistically but in his earlier years he certainly gives him a better comparison. His last year at UTD and his time at Madrid.
@MiguelDelaney It's like comparing Madona and Brazilian Ronaldo. Totally different in style and stature. Maradona obviously the better player but years have passed and they are considered two of the greatest with different styles and abilities. I think you are unkind to younger Portugal Ronaldo
@MrTomMcDermott Absolutely not. The current market is farcical. I don't view him than more than a ยฃ60 million pound player. Same for Fernandes, Wharton, Baleba. They are very good midfield players. At the moment none of them are exceptional
@Malachians In every aspect he reminded me of Villas Boas time at Chelsea. Highly rated, Portuguese, bought out of his Portuguese contract, went badly wrong in England and ultimately never lived up to the hype.
@_shaunirvine I just don't think they are willing to pay that asking price, to me he is a bit overpriced by maybe 20 million or so and it really seems like with Ineos if they can potentially save any money they will. The general price for midfielders is out of control. As is with Anderson
@CrossanBrendan@MiguelDelaney I still think it would of been the same outcome. No matter what. There was no great respect for each other. Both hot headed. I genuinely believe Keane could of dragged us so much further in that World Cup.
@MarkOgden_ He had 8 or possibly 9 fully fit attacking players to choose from last night. The potential flair is there and available. His team went 1 up and he tried to sit on that lead for 85 minutes and PSG weren't at their best either. Never have a better chance to win it
@MiguelDelaney PSG were not at the level they were last season. Incredible when they are flowing and it is hard to maintain how they played last season. They were unbelievable to watch in last year's final. Last night's performance is on Arteta. If they had of went for a second they win
@MiguelDelaney Miguel they would of had a better chance of winning if they played how they did 2 years ago. It is on Arteta who has them as a defensive team and and cautious of loosing a goal. Creates intense pressure. He had Havertz, Saka, gyokeres, trossard, martinelli, Eze to choose from
@MiguelDelaney I get your sport washing angle in regards to this situation but ultimately with all the money they have spent on player's and bought their way to the top it's comes down to putting the best Coach in the world in place to change their fortunes.
