EVIL DEAD BURN is so gnarly, intense, and gory. I don’t know how they keep making these movies more brutal than the last one, but they somehow find a multitude of painful new ways to do so. There were more than a few moments that made me wince, some of which were due to the screenplay, but Sébastien Vaniček’s inspired direction more than makes up for it. It definitely has more of a European feel compared to some of the other Evil Dead films. There isn’t much else that’s new here otherwise, so if this ultra-violent, sicko franchise isn’t for you, this certainly won’t convert you. I was happy to see Souheila Yacoub leading this, and I’m even happier to say she absolutely crushes and kills it.

sooo the Obsession Unrated Version is just a lighter color grading of the film, where u can clearly see the unrecognizable smashed face of Sarah and her full frontal body on a couch. idk im not sure if that's really the unrated ver I watched.
