@thsottiaux Codex CLI 0.157.x has a serious Windows bug: terminal/PowerShell/cmd windows constantly flash open/close during normal use. Multiple users reproduce it on 0.157.0/0.157.1. --no-daemon is only a workaround. Could you help get this looked at?

[Jeff Chen @jcdanhong]

@thsottiaux codex cli is full of bugs. Don't you have unlimited tokens? Why don't you fix them as soon as possible， why?

[Jeff Chen @jcdanhong]

@thsottiaux Codex 0.157.1 on Windows repeatedly opens terminal windows at startup and during agent work. They steal focus and interrupt typing, seriously disrupting paid users’ work. Please prioritize a hotfix and address users’ losses. Issue #48422

@thsottiaux You should refactor your codex using fable 5.1

@thsottiaux @rezoundous Super super slow

@thsottiaux

[Jeff Chen @jcdanhong]

@thsottiaux What you said is quite interesting, but it's of no use

[Jeff Chen @jcdanhong]

@thsottiaux Could you tell me why 5.6 can be so slow and consume so quickly? What's the principle behind this? Did your reset cover up this defect

[Jeff Chen @jcdanhong]

@thsottiaux @LLMJunky A mode with such slow execution efficiency, like garbage, refers to 5.6-sol

[Jeff Chen @jcdanhong]

@thsottiaux why is 5.6-sol so slow? What's the difference between this and the efficiency of humans? Why

[Jeff Chen @jcdanhong]

Claude: Task complete. Tests passing. Pushed.
Codex: Great — let me start by getting a feel for the project structure.

[Jeff Chen @jcdanhong]

codex runs very, very slowly
