Team1 Turkiye Is Officially Here 🇹🇷
Prior to becoming an official Team1 chapter, Team1 Turkiye had already been actively contributing to the growth of the ecosystem and onboarding talent to Avalanche
Over the past years we’ve accomplished:
- 35+ events with 3,850 attendees hosted across Turkiye, from Istanbul to emerging tech cities
- 22 university collaborations, bringing Avalanche into classrooms across the country
- Working with 10 leading Web3 projects, exchanges and financial institutions
- Hands-on engagement with developers, builders and students
For many developers and students, these events served as the first real introduction to building on Avalanche. And for some, they represented the starting point for projects that are still growing.
Collaborations with projects and companies like Chainlink TR, Bitget, OKX TR, Pangolin, ParibuHub, Garanti BBVA Kripto, Misyon Bank, Dexalot, and Kast Card helped to expand the community’s reach and connect builders to the broader ecosystem. This is in addition to our relationships with local communities such as Koza DAO, Blokverse, and Dogu Blockchain.
For 2026, our focus is scaling both reach and impact. We aim to grow the Team1 Türkiye community by onboarding new members, activating contributors nationwide, expanding into new cities and increasing hands-on workshops to support builders at every stage.
At the same time, we will deepen collaborations with ecosystem partners from Web3 projects to institutions and introduce new event formats to create more engaging community experiences.
Team1 Türkiye is committed to building a stronger, more connected and builder-driven Avalanche ecosystem in 2026.
@_patrickogrady I wonder which 4.6 Opus they used for these benchmarks. If it’s pre-nerf Opus then yeah this is truly amazing, but if they used “current” Opus then they’re just re-releasing 4.6.
Team1 University Tour Turkiye 🇹🇷
7 cities, 9 universities, 500 students
Developer workshops, builder hub tutorials, Avalanche Academy certifications, @coreapp downloads & bringing more students on-chain.
Big thanks to our sponsors @bitget, @pangolindex & @dexalot
Yesterday I had the chance to give an Avalanche 101 session at the @odtublockchain event.
Less speculation.
More consensus mechanics, sovereign L1s, custom VMs and real interoperability.
Huge shout-outs to @koaservatt, @snowofkila and @AvaxTeam1 for organizing Team1 Uni Tour.
Some shots from @jceyonur's workshop during stop #1 on our Turkiye University tour 🇹🇷
Great session for computer engineering students with a hands-on session on Avalanche fundamentals & node setup

🔺 I’m genuinely excited for the event we’ll hold on Tuesday at Bilgi University, November 25th with @_burcusan_ 's class.
We are looking forward to welcoming @jceyonur from the @AvaLabs developer team, who will join us to teach node setup to the students and share the short-term developments they are currently working on within the @avax blockchain.
We’ll also have valuable participants from the @pangolindex and @dexalot teams.
See you there!
