G Mining’s buy of G2 Goldfields? $1 BILLION in synergies from one unified district. Both stocks ripped higher. This is how M&A is supposed to work.

Meanwhile, he’s warning: Lithium is NOT scarce — 150-200 deposits fighting for just 5-6 that will actually get built. Most will get wrecked.
Uranium? Middle East shocks = massive energy-security tailwind. Nuclear is the only fuel dense enough for real independence.

Congratulations on your good call! I’ve been following the Oko District for a while now: I think Tajiri’s Yono project is the next piece of the puzzle for GMIN - the market loves consolidation move - GMIN’s market cap is up about C$1.36 Billion since the deal was announced April 9 - that plus the synergies from not having to build a separate mill for G2’s Oko Main Zone of about C$1 Billion, kinda means they got G2 for free!

@northernminer@G2Goldfields@GMiningVentures Last week’s news, guys! :) Love your newspaper, longtime subscriber - here’s the next story for you: I predict GMIN acquires Tajiri’s Yono property! The essential donut hole in the middle of the Oko District:
$GMIN.to $GTWO.to $TAJ.v
Good luck in your quest, and congrats on your prescience on G2! Am I correct in understanding that you’ve completed all the geology course work (congrats!) and just need some time being mentored on the job? And you’re nicely set up after your big win on the G2 acquisition… sounds really great: where’d you study, and what languages do you speak well enough to fit in on the job?
It’s great you’ve been following Oko - think GMIN will do a deal on Tajiri’s Yono property, do you know it? An overlooked gem in the heart of the Oko district:

Nice to see your post from way back, Alex! I’ve been following Oko since 2020 or so… Now that G2 and GMIN are combining, it’ll be easier for $LUG to make a deal - do you think they might be interested? For a true district consolidation, they’ll have to include Tajiri’s Yono property:
$GTWO $GMIN $TAJ
Nice post! I hadn’t heard that Lundins were looking at the Oko District! Very interesting: now that GMIN and G2 are combined, it’s simpler for Lundin to make a deal, it’ll be interesting to see how it all shakes out…. They’ll need Tajiri’s property for a proper consolidation, of course!
Spare a thought for those who were short 1 million shares of G2 Goldfields $GTWO.TO as G Mining Ventures $GMIN.TO announced an all-share acquisition at a 72% premium

@goldstocktrades Good for you being aware of G2 all this time! Great exit for shareholders, joining world-class GMIN to develop Oko into a top Tier-1 asset….
@jameskwantes You were very prescient, James - good work! Now to complete the district consolidation, I think GMIN will have to acquire Tajiri’s Yono project, what do you think?
That’s awesome, good for you - Followed! Next I think GMIN will buy Tajiri’s Yono property, to completely consolidate the Oko District:
- Strategic enclave position: Yono (122 hectares) is a complete inlier fully surrounded by the now-consolidated GMIN + G2 land package. The maps in the GMIN-G2 news release explicitly highlight this "small white permit area." Pit shells and high-grade zones from both sides approach within 90–170 m (and sometimes closer) of Yono's boundary, with structures and contacts clearly extending into or across it.
- Operational necessity for GMIN/G2: As discussed, water management (Yono Creek), pit optimization for deeper mining (e.g., 600 m+ scenarios or Border Zone), waste/haul road access, and avoiding sterilization of adjacent ounces make control of Yono highly desirable. Tajiri's own NI 43-101 and press releases note that mining the neighboring deposits "could be very challenging and restrictive" without Yono access.
- Brownfield exploration upside: Recent Tajiri results (trenching and auger) show coherent gold mineralization directly analogous to the neighbors
Yes, Faheem, a great result for GTWO! This acquisition really puts Oko on the map globally, and that’s good for Altair (of course!) and also Tajiri, a $50M junior with the Yono property, right in the middle of Oko:
Great outcome $GTWO.TO on their C$3B takeover by $GMIN
Forming a 500kozpa gold hub in Guyana & consolidating 362km2 total
Oko district continues to heat up as $ALR heads toward drilling across its 590km2 Greater Oko Project
2 players control the entire district now
Exciting!
@JuriMontana Oh man, hate when that happens! You can still play the district, tho - I think GMIN will want to do a deal for Tajiri’s Yono property, smack dab in the middle of Oko.
I agree, Sam - Guyana’s Oko District is *uniquely* valuable because of its Tier-1 jurisdiction, fast permitting, and growth potential: already at 8.9M oz and that’s only including resources down to 500-600m…. If GMIN really wants to control the Oko District they’ll be looking at Tajiri’s Yono project, smack dab in the middle:
It’s great to see Guyana get well deserved recognition for being a Tier-1 jurisdiction! A bold move by GMIN to consolidate the Oko district. I think they’ll probably want Tajiri’s Yono property now!
