We started Arda in 2025 to speed up American manufacturing. We have spent the last year building with Anduril as our design partner. Today we are launching the company publicly on CNBC and announcing our Series A: $160M at a $1.5B valuation.
Our platform helps manufacturers design and operate manual assembly lines, putting designs into production faster now. Next we'll build automated lines that can be reconfigured as quickly as human workers, letting America make products that now require armies of workers in Asia.
Just published The Synthesis is Here in The American Scholar. Key points: 1) Synthiety—a social order where human society & AI are inextricably integrated. 2) Shaping synthiety requires both the Liberal Arts & tech wisdom. 3) Pragmatic proposals. #AI #LiberalArts #Synthiety
The stakes are not just “customers get angry or take their business elsewhere”. AI is not a normal technology and should not be regulated like a normal technology
Disappointed to see @JensenHuang interview on the @ezraklein show treating AI safety and alignment as “just an engineering problem”. It’s a *research problem* we neither know how to solve nor know is solvable.
Totally on board with @JensenHuang that it’s high time the AI labs @OpenAI and @AnthropicAI spend 80/20 on safety/capability rather than their current 20/80.
