Nwa Mgbenta Saga: Family Pays ₦1 Million Ransom Yet Odinaka Remains Missing – Nonso Nkwa Releases Parents’ Voice Message
Human rights activist and broadcaster Chinonso Uba, popularly known as Nonso Nkwa, has released yet another voice message from the distraught parents of a young man abducted by a group linked to Nwa Mgbenta in Njaba Local Government Area.
The latest audio testimony concerns Mr. Celestin (also known as Odinaka) from Umutanze community. According to the parents’ account, Odinaka was abducted on his way home after charging his power bank at a location in the area.
The family reportedly paid a ransom of ₦1 million, raised after the victim’s father sold a plot of land. The money was delivered in cash, yet the abductors have refused to release Celestin.
As of now, the family says they have no information on whether their son is still alive or dead.
Nonso Nkwa described the release of the voice message as part of his ongoing documentation of alleged atrocities and human rights abuses in the Njaba area of Imo state. He has urged relevant authorities to investigate the matter and bring the perpetrators to justice.

This man called A.B. Adebayo and his wife were kidnapped from their residence in Iluke-Bunu, Kabba/Bunu LGA of Kogi State, three weeks ago. That was the day their lives changed forever.
As if that was not enough trauma for family and friends, here’s how the terrorists are showing their loved ones that they mean business - humiliating torture.
This is happening daily in Nigeria and yet the Nigerian so called President is busy begging and appealing to terrorists to surrender rather than go after them with the weapons they spend hundreds of millions of dollars purchasing every year to combat terrorism.
Building Our Land With Our Own Hands:
Today, the 1st of June, is a day for reflection and vision.
The future we seek will not be built by speeches, emotions, or expectations that others will do the work for us. It will be built by disciplined people, strong institutions, economic productivity, security, and a shared commitment to development.
History teaches that nations and societies rise when their people decide to take responsibility for their own future.
One example I have taken to citing is Somaliland. Despite limited international recognition and significant challenges, its people focused on local security, community cooperation, institution-building, trade, and gradual development.
They understood that stability comes before prosperity, and prosperity strengthens stability.
If we truly desire a better future for our land, we must begin by building it with our own hands.
1. Security First: No society can prosper without security. Investors do not invest where there is instability. Businesses do not grow where people fear for their safety.
Schools cannot function effectively where insecurity exists.
Security is not only the responsibility of governments. Communities must actively participate through:
Community vigilance and cooperation.
Intelligence sharing with lawful authorities.
Youth engagement programmes that reduce crime and social unrest.
Conflict resolution mechanisms among communities.
Protection of lives, property, markets, schools, and public infrastructure.
A secure society creates the foundation upon which development can stand.
2. Build Strong Local Institutions: Strong people need strong institutions.
We must encourage transparent leadership, accountable community organizations.
Functional town unions and development associations.
Professional bodies that promote standards and ethics.
Community-based development projects.
Institutions outlive individuals. Sustainable progress depends on systems, not personalities.
3. Prioritize Education: Education remains the greatest investment any society can make.
We must improve access to quality education.
Encourage science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Support vocational and technical training.
Promote entrepreneurship education.
Invest in research and innovation.
The wealth of the future will belong to societies that produce knowledge and skilled professionals.
4. Create Economic Power: Economic strength is the backbone of self-reliance.
We should support local businesses, promote manufacturing.
Encourage agriculture and agro-processing.
Build technology hubs.
Create cooperative investment schemes.
Strengthen trade networks across communities and the diaspora.
Every successful business creates jobs, reduces poverty, and strengthens society.
5. Invest in Infrastructure: development requires physical foundations. Communities can work together to support Roads and transportation, clean water projects, healthcare facilities, electricity and energy solutions, digital infrastructure and internet access.
It is infrastructure that connects people to opportunity.
6. Mobilize the Diaspora: One of our greatest assets is our people abroad. This is one of the strongest structures of #IPOB raised by Mazi #NnamdiKanu. The diaspora can contribute through investment, skills transfer, mentorship tecchnology partnerships, educational support, and community development projects.
A united global community can accelerate local progress.
7. Promote Unity and Shared Purpose: No society advances while divided against itself, nor a house against itself. We must move beyond unnecessary rivalries and focus on common goals - development, security, education, economic growth, and social progress.
Unity does not require uniformity. It requires a shared commitment to a better future.
Happy New Month!

Prayer for the Fallen Heroes and Heroines of Biafra:
Heavenly Father, Creator of all nations and Judge of all the earth,
Today, we bow before You with humble hearts to remember the fallen heroes and heroines of Biafra. We honor those who endured hardship, suffering, and sacrifice in the hope of securing safety, dignity, and a future for their people. We remember the men, women, and children whose lives were cut short, and we pray that their memories shall never be forgotten.
Lord, You alone know the tears that were shed, the pain that was carried, and the hopes that lived within their hearts. May their sacrifices inspire us to walk in wisdom, courage, truth, and righteousness. May we never take lightly the cost of life, freedom, justice, and the protection of our people.
Father, we ask that You strengthen us to continue the work of preserving our people, defending the vulnerable, speaking the truth, and pursuing peace with honor. Let us not be overcome by bitterness, hatred, or despair, but let us be guided by wisdom, discipline, and steadfast faith.
O Lord God Almighty, stretch forth Your mighty hand over our land and our people. Frustrate every plan of wickedness. Expose every scheme that seeks to bring death, fear, kidnapping, violence, corruption, destruction, and suffering upon innocent people. Let those who delight in evil find their plots scattered. Let deception be brought into the light. Let injustice be exposed. Let those who profit from the pain of the people be put to shame by the triumph of truth and righteousness.
Father, let darkness not prevail over our communities. Let Your light shine upon every village, every town, every family, and every child. Where there is fear, bring courage. Where there is division, bring reconciliation. Where there is confusion, bring understanding. Where there is despair, bring hope. And where there is trouble, please bring peace.
Lord, unite our people in purpose and in love. Remove envy, betrayal, greed, and hatred from among us.
Teach us to treat one another with kindness, dignity, and respect.
Let us learn to build rather than destroy, to heal rather than wound, and to serve rather than exploit.
Grant us the grace to build our land with our own hands, to cultivate prosperity through honest labor, to protect our communities through justice and unity, and to leave a better inheritance for future generations.
May our leaders be guided by wisdom, integrity, and the fear of God. May our youth be filled with knowledge, discipline, and vision.
Father, awaken our people to understand the challenges before us. Open our eyes to see clearly, our ears to hear truthfully, and our hearts to act wisely.
Deliver us from ignorance, complacency, division, and deception. Give us the courage to confront our problems honestly and the determination to work together for the good of all.
May freedom flourish wherever Your truth is embraced. May justice flow like a river. May peace dwell within our borders and within our hearts. May our future be shaped not by fear, but by faith; not by hatred, but by love; not by oppression, but by righteousness.
And above all, Lord, teach us to worship You in spirit and in truth, with clean hands, pure hearts, and unwavering devotion. Let our lives reflect Your goodness, Your mercy, and Your justice.
I pray the memories of the fallen be a call to wisdom. May the living be strengthened; may the generations yet unborn inherit peace, dignity, and hope.
In the mighty name of God Almighty, we pray.
Amen.

Lolo Nneka Chimezie Returns After One-Week Break, Urges Ndi Igbo to Honour Biafra Fallen Heroes on May 30
Lolo Nneka Chimezie has made her return to public space after a one-week break.
In her comeback message, the popular Igbo voice called on Ndi Igbo worldwide to remember and honour the fallen heroes of Biafra on May 30, the annual Biafra Remembrance Day.
She emphasized the importance of keeping the memory of the heroes alive as a way of preserving Igbo history and identity.
Take a honest look at all those who rose against DOS, where are they today? Vanished into thin air!
DOS and IPOB are inseparable, they are one and the same! If you want to destroy DOS, you must first destroy IPOB. There is no other way. You cannot separate the two.
When you say 'God bless IPOB,' you are directly saying 'God bless DOS.' When you declare that IPOB has come to stay, you are also declaring that DOS has come to stay. For DOS to fall, IPOB must first be destroyed!
The bigger question now is do you have what it take to destroy IPOB?
Look at the bitter failure of Nelly Ofoegbu, Simon Ekpa, and the entire Nigerian government, their total inability to destroy DOS is exactly why IPOB remains stronger than ever today. The foundation is too solid, and the members are not hungry or greedy fellows.
We fully understand the dirty game the Nigerian government is playing by detaining Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Let them hear this clearly: We have built a tall, unbreakable wall of rock around DOS. We strongly advise the Nigerian government to free Mazi Nnamdi Kanu immediately and let him go. If they think they can manipulate him to destroy DOS, they are wasting their time, it will NEVER work, not even in one million years!
When Benjamin Madubugwu tried to force his way into DOS, IPOB already had solid intelligence that he was coming with a clear government agenda of destruction. Are you surprised by his sudden anti-DOS activities after he was rejected and bounced back by DOS? IPOB operates with a very strong and sophisticated intelligence network. Our leadership may not talk much, but they see everything, including how certain individuals are being funded. Some people are busy fighting against DOS without even realizing they are being psychologically controlled and used by the Nigerian government
So to some individual on social media ranting, before you open your mouth and deceive yourself that you have the power to crush DOS, pause and ask yourself this hard question: Can you destroy IPOB?
Until you answer this truthfully and convincingly, you are only wasting your precious time. Very soon, you will fade away and be forgotten like all those who came before you with the same foolish mission!"

For some time now, I have restrained myself from speaking publicly on the matter concerning Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. However, it is unfortunate that things have reached this ugly point.
I have said it before and I will continue to say it: I place the greater part of the blame on Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s siblings. If I were to be in their shoes, immediately after Mazi Nnamdi Kanu abduction, I would reach out to IPOB leadership and worked closely with them to harness its strength and influence. Instead, they turned against the only formidable structure capable of helping their brother and began heaping all kinds of accusations on the organisation best positioned to secure his freedom.
When they reduced Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s case to a “Kanu Family versus Nigerian Government” matter, I wrote several articles warning against subjecting a global case to a mere family affair.
They eventually pushed Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to a life sentence and still show no remorse of their actions. Heaven bears me witness that, as an individual, I did everything in my power to raise global awareness for his release. There is no head of state who does not know Emeka Gift through my consistent tweets, especially on Tuesdays. I staged protests in Ivory Coast for the freedom of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. We wrote petitions to virtually every embassy ever existed in Ivory Coast. We did everything humanly possible to create global awareness and rescue our leader.
But our efforts were constantly downplayed and undermined by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s siblings, who continued to accuse the IPOB leadership despite their visible commitment.
When Mazi Nnamdi Kanu travelled to Africa, the leadership was not informed. When he was kidnapped, the same leadership was accused of betraying him, and our people were turned against the DOS. It took us years of explanations before our people finally understood that the DOS members were innocent of those accusations.
Since his abduction and rendition, his siblings have engaged in continuous sabotage against the very organisation that should be at the forefront of efforts to free their brother. They have been sponsoring a few individuals to keep accusing members of DOS.
Recently, I saw Prince Darlington parading documents and accusing Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor. Today, Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor has responded with a strong rebuttal, a response that will only worsen the already pitiful situation of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
I want to ask Darlington and his group: Do you think you are helping Mazi Nnamdi Kanu? Why are you expanding his problems? Why continued attacking Ifeanyi Ejiofor even when this man has refused to speak publicly yet you and your group keep launching attack against him. I read his rebuttal and I pity Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Offcouse you don’t accuse Ifeanyi Ejiofor and expect him not to defend himself.
Darlington why are you dabbling into matters you know little or nothing about? This is truly unfortunate.
To the IPOB leadership, I say: Please do not give up. If you chicken out, these elements will go into hiding and the struggle will die. I plead with you to remain focused. Our people are looking up to you. The leadership must gear up and do whatever it takes to restore Biafra. Avoid distractions. The aim of these people is to shift your focus from the main goal. They will be happy to push the narrative that since the abduction of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, you have achieved nothing.
For the past years, while we worked hard to save the struggle from destruction and distance it from the violent activities of Ekpa, the same people claimed we achieved nothing. Therefore, I advise you to stay focused and deliver. Let them continue with whatever they are doing with Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
We have done our part with every sincerity, and Okike shall always bear us witness. Our people are looking up to you, and I do not want you to disappoint them.
Thank you.

About Wednesday the 18th of March, 2026:
It was A Call to Moral Responsibility and Honour and still is:
Your Majesties The Royal Family , Members of the Royal Household, and Esteemed Representatives of the Crown,
I speak today not in anger, but in solemn appeal, an appeal grounded in history, conscience, and the enduring values that the British Crown has long claimed to uphold: justice, honour, and moral responsibility.
Nearly six decades ago, a distinguished Biafran son, Dr. Akanu Ibiam, wrote to the British Crown with both reverence and sorrow.
He praised Britain’s Christian heritage, its institutions, and its global influence for good. Yet, in the same breath, he issued a grave indictment: that Britain, knowingly or otherwise, stood on the wrong side of justice during the suffering of his people, the people of Biafra.
He returned his honours not out of disrespect, but out of conviction. Because, in his words and actions, honour without justice is hollow.
Today, history echoes.
The concerns raised in 1967 have not been buried - they have endured. The cries for dignity, safety, and self-determination among Biafrans remain unresolved. The scars of past violence, displacement, and perceived abandonment have not healed. Instead, they have evolved into renewed calls for accountability, fairness, and recognition.
At the center of this present moment stands Mazi #NnamdiKanu, a figure whose illegal conviction has become symbolic, whether one agrees with him or not.
Of a broader question:
How should grievances of identity, security, and political voice be addressed in a modern world that claims to value human rights?
Your Majesties,
The British Crown today is not the same imperial authority it once was. Yet, it remains a powerful moral institution, one whose voice carries weight across nations, especially within the Commonwealth. That influence is not enforced through power, but through example.
And so, the question before the Crown is not one of political control, but of moral leadership.
What, then, must be done?
1. Acknowledge the Past with Honesty:
History cannot be undone, but it can be confronted.
An honest acknowledgment of Britain’s role - direct or indirect, in the suffering of Biafrans during the civil war would not weaken the Crown; it would strengthen its credibility.
Silence preserves distance but you acknowledgment will restore trust.
2. Affirm Commitment to Justice and Human Rights:
The Crown has long stood as a symbol of justice. That principle must extend beyond borders.
A clear and public stance supporting:
Due process
Fair treatment.
Respect for human rights including in the case of #NnamdiKanu, would signal that British values are not selective, but universal. When I reached out through the Bishop of Canterbury, I was not satisfied by your reaction and I am still asking that you restore the moral code of what the Crown stands for.
3. Encourage Peaceful and Democratic Resolution:
The call for a referendum, as seen in current movements, reflects a desire for voice, not violence.
The Crown can encourage dialogue over the suppression we face.
Advocate for peaceful, lawful mechanisms for resolving disputes
Promote stability rooted in consent, not coercion.
4. Reclaim Moral Authority Through Action:
The greatest strength of the Crown is not ceremonial. Rather, it is moral.
To act now, in alignment with justice and compassion, would honour the legacy of those like Dr. Ibiam.
Restore faith among those who feel historically overlooked. Demonstrate that Britain’s values are lived, not merely spoken.
Your Majesties,
This is not a call for intervention, but for principled influence. Not a demand for power, but a reminder of responsibility.

WEDNESDAY MUSING
LESSONS FROM THE ONGOING MIDDLE EAST HOSTILITIES.
As tensions persist in the Middle East, particularly involving the long-standing hostilities between the states of Iran and Israel/the United States of America, the world is once again reminded that modern warfare is no longer a contest of rhetoric nor a spectacle for emotional participation. It is a complex, multi-layered confrontation shaped by decades of ideological rivalry, intelligence operations, proxy alignments, nuclear calculations, and global energy diplomacy.
History demonstrates that wars of significant magnitude rarely remain confined to the original disputants. The alliances and entanglements preceding World War I turned a regional European crisis into a global catastrophe. Likewise, the ideological rivalry of the Cold War transformed smaller nations into proxy battlegrounds.
Today’s confrontations are no less intricate. Superpowers observe from the shadows. Intelligence coalitions collaborate quietly. Military alliances stand alert. What appears to be a bilateral clash is often a theatre for broader strategic recalibration. The first lesson, therefore, is humility: what looks simple rarely is.
War is no longer fought solely with boots on the ground. Satellites track movements in real time. Cyber operations penetrate borders without visas. Missile systems calculate trajectories with algorithmic precision. Artificial intelligence now assists in battlefield analysis. Modern warfare operates in domains far removed from the theatrics of public outrage.
However, patriotism is noble. Moral conviction has its place. But national policy cannot be built upon sentiment.
No responsible state inserts itself into a conflict without assessing military capability, economic resilience, diplomatic leverage, and long-term consequences. States operating within nuclear deterrence architectures and sophisticated missile interception systems function within a strategic ecosystem that smaller or developing nations must approach with caution.
The sobering truth is this: enthusiasm does not equal preparedness.
Nations rise not by amplifying external conflicts, but by strengthening internal foundations. Even victors in modern warfare inherit consequences: economic disruption, geopolitical backlash, humanitarian crises, and generational instability.
The Middle East itself stands as historical testimony. Decades of recurring conflict have left deep social, political, and economic scars across the region. No society emerges from sustained warfare unmarked. War may settle immediate strategic objectives; it rarely secures enduring peace.
There is a misconception that silence implies indifference. On the contrary, restraint is often the highest expression of wisdom.
Global wars are not street protests. They are not village wrestling contests. They are calibrated engagements involving alliances, algorithms, intelligence networks, and nuclear doctrines. History rewards nations that master restraint. It punishes those that mistake noise for influence.
In matters of global warfare, wisdom often lies not in participation, but in perspective.
Signed

Buckingham Palace & Surrounding Areas in London.
Christian genocide******
Mazi #NnamdiKanu’s appeal and release*****.
The release of our brothers and sisters unjustly and illegally detained, just like Mazi #NnamdiKanu.

The pursuit of a sane, just, and functional system - Biafra.
Through it all, one truth remains: there is work ahead, and we must stand where it truly matters, with dignity, integrity, and unwavering commitment to justice.
Our voices will continue to echo!
This day is an opportunity for people who share these concerns to gather, express their views, and call attention to issues they believe must not be ignored. Many feel that honouring a leader while governance challenges persist sends the wrong message, one that normalizes suffering, insecurity, and lack of accountability.
This rally is a chance for individuals to make their voices heard peacefully and publicly.
