My sweet girl, 16 years old, asked me before our town's prayer vigil in Charlie's honor if she could say a few words on behalf of the high schoolers who would be in attendance. I was surprised (she's never shown any interest in public speaking before). But I was also touched. She loved Charlie's boldness and his sharp arguments.
