[Carlos @jclin1]

@UEFA You know @FIFAcom is fucking up when UEFA has the moral high ground 😂

Stop bringing even more corporate interests into our sports!

[Carlos @jclin1]

@FIFAcom Let's not forget that FIFA produced a documentary in 2021 called "The Men Who Sold the World Cup", to wash their image. Infantino made an appearance at the end talking platitudes about the purity of the game. In case anyone was wondering how quickly they dropped the charade.

[Carlos @jclin1]

Won't be watching the Paralympics this year. The fact that the IPC is allowing Russian athletes to compete under their own flag at the @Paralympics is crazy. State-sponsored doping + invasion. Good on @Ukraine for boycotting, but it's a shame that they are the victims once again.

[Carlos @jclin1]

[Carlos @jclin1]

@mitchgoldich Listened to today's ep. If you want rugby between Olympics, @SVNSSeries is where it's at: teams and rosters are pretty much the ones you see in the Olympics, and tournaments are weekend-long affairs throughtout the year. They have stops in Vegas and LA, so maybe go see one live!

[Carlos @jclin1]

@missourinole @mitchgoldich Short games means you can have a full tournament in 3 days, and the intensity is always there. It's perfect for a smaller sport like that.

[Carlos @jclin1]

@mitchgoldich Such a fun sport. I dunno if you've followed in between Olympics, but the USA getting bronze, and Canada getting silver were huge upsets, especially CAN. They won bronze in 2016, but they've been mid since then. Nobody expected them to medal, and they made NZL sweat. Huge effort

[Carlos @jclin1]

So happy to have @mitchgoldich back hosting a daily Olympics podcast for @SInow, now with @Dan_Gartland! On board every day for fun, interesting coverage. I do miss the old name, though😝 'Very Olympic Today' was an S-tier podcast name

[Carlos @jclin1]

@EdmontonOilers Worst thing is, he's probably going to win a Cup in Edmonton using the roster built by his predecessor, just like he did in Chicago. And live off of that reputation for the next 15 years.

[Carlos @jclin1]

@EdmontonOilers That is such a garbage move. Bowman doesn't belong in an NHL organization after helping cover up sexual abuse. He either knew and is a terrible person, or didn't know and is a bad GM; neither of which the Oilers should be looking to hire. Horrible hiring.

[Carlos @jclin1]

Me encontré al doble canadiense de @Ruys 😆 cc @elhyp3 @salchizard @wookie_williams @SoyKabri

[Carlos @jclin1]
