@FreddyLA7 When you're in the Oklahoma City Metro hit up Pops in Arcadia. They have every kind of bottled soda you could possibly think of and killer chicken fried steak.
@jeribai76@shaunvlog_ I think it's a regional thing. In God's Country (Oklahoma) they mostly call it chicken fried. I feel like when I've been further north it's more likely to be country fried.
@fiago7 If you're near the Oklahoma City metro, there's a town called Arcadia. It has a place called Pops, where you can get any kind of bottled soda you want. Hundreds of different brands of sodas in glass bottles. Like 50 different kinds of root beer. There's also a weird round barn.
@philsteele042 As an Oklahoma State fan, I've never felt like Phil Steele's magazine underrepresented the league. And I've read it every year for 20 years, even when he's told me my Cowpokes are gonna stink, because he's usually right.
Hey media
Not a Platner fan, but why is he a nonstop story and not Ken Paxton's TWENTY indictments by a GOP led-Texas legislature, securities fraud charges and his wife's filing for divorce on "biblical grounds?"
Okc was 11-10 this year when both Jalen Williams and Ajay Mitchell did not play. That means when at least one of them played this year they were 53-8. It seems like they make a little bit of a difference.
In the last 3 weeks Wemby has:
- Intentionally elbowed Naz Reid in the neck
- Called for bench players to try to hurt Thunder players with hard fouls after losing
- Skipped mandatory postgame media
- Yanked Lu Dort’s hair (the exact play Spurs fans wanted IHart arrested for)
All with no additional punishment from the NBA, Wemby being donned as the face of “ethical basketball,” and the narrative from the series being the Thunder whistle and Shai falling in a series they’re shooting less FT with both sides playing physically.
We’re witnessing the biggest mass gaslighting event the sport has ever seen.
@caydenmc Step one: people complain about SGA or OKC's whistle.
Step two: Someone posts the stats that show the narrative is way, way off.
Step three: Someone else says "Yeah, but people who know ball..."
Fact check: They may know ball, but they're wrong on this one.
Hey @NBCSports , you have the footage for the foul montage on Shai. Not releasing it and talking about it like you did with Wemby in games 2 and 3 is unethical. Castle could foul out in six possessions.
@PattMattrick The other thing is, thanks to the play in tournament and the Wolves upsetting Denver, OKC technically just swept two teams with better records each round than the opponent SA played, while SA dropped 3 total games. I think it'll be a good series, but folks are sleeping on OKC.
