@endlesss_sea@hotashis Listen, I’ve played plenty of the game I just don’t like it. I’m not trying to be problematic or offend anyone I’d just much rather play xrd or +r because their depth, at the literal very least, is more apparent up front.
@hotashis It’s nothing against you or anyone who enjoys strive, like I said, more power to you. The game just feels too easy to play for my taste. I don’t like the game that’s all I meant to say. If I want to play guilty gear xrd and +r have the challenge I’m looking for.
@RareBreedMG My friend and I were trying to find each other the other night on the lobbies. He’d create one and I’d check the lobby menu and he wouldn’t show up, I’d create one and it wouldn’t show up for him either. Tried exiting to menu to reload and that didn’t work. We should be same reg.
Played some blazing strike arcade to test the game out and three matches deep my game crashed when I did the scythe drop on Oro supering. I’d guess it’s because I hit him during the startup with the screen flash. I think #BlazingStrike has potential but it’s gonna need some work.
@ianga_decimo@SuperRADLemon Having played thousands of hours of fighting games and a couple hundred hours of smash I can say, at least for me, they’re roughly the same complexity. There’s unique challenges to both that make them have plenty of competitive depth.
@SuperRADLemon Bled into more traditional fighting games and that can be scary for a very competitively focused fan base. I love any fighting game I can get my hands on so personally it doesn’t matter too much to me but I can feel that fear people feel when sf6 has directional specials or etc
@SuperRADLemon I think fg fans want to distance games like smash, sparking zero, etc from the genre so that the classic identity of the 2d/3d fighter doesn’t get diluted. Personally I think smash and sparking are fighting game “enough” but the casualification of the genre has (1/2)
@AndreaDProjects That’s something that will always confuse me about Billy Kane in kofxv was minus on hit far c that just lets a bunch of characters full punish him for using it. What’s the point of having the big stick if it’s too dangerous to swing it?
