New pro tip in life as a foodie. Make friends with people that make the food or things you love, not more foodies.
The returns in life are so much better.
Seeing the full moon after peak nordic summer time with the midnight sun and all right after doing sauna by the beach is a good reminder that life is good
Started researching about nanotech and what’s been going on in it
So yesterday and today i learned about programmable matter and 4D printing
Two concepts i’ve never heard of that actually already exists
For some time now we’ve been able to instantly get whatever information we need
When can we instantly get whatever tool we need?
Like an instant swiss army knife of everything
Like a green lantern’s ring or iron man’s nano tech
my master's thesis on residencies.
LIVING AND BUILDING TOGETHER: A Global Study of Residency Programmes and Venture Development in the Age of AI

create your orbit.
The Residency’s real competitor isn’t an accelerator. It’s a monastery.
Monasteries figured out something a thousand years ago that Silicon Valley discovered by accident and is beginning to take more seriously.
Environment is the strongest predictor of success.
Monks didn’t become monks by reading about discipline. They moved into buildings designed for it. Shared meals. Shared silence. Shared standards. The walls did half the work.
That’s the entire thesis behind The Residency.
You can’t lecture someone into becoming a great founder. But you can put them in a house where everyone wakes up building, where the standard is so high that coasting feels physically uncomfortable, and the person across the kitchen table is shipping something at 2am.
Monasteries compress discipline. Residencies compress progress.
Same mechanism. Total immersion, removal of noise, proximity to people further along the path.
It’s why I still do vipassana every few years. Ten days of silence inside the oldest residency model on earth.
The future of talent development isn’t more lectures. It’s better rooms.
Thankfully for us, monasteries aren’t focused on founders.

finally found a copy in the library for the beginning of infinity - david deutsch (after countless mentions in naval's podcasts)
the first chapters are making me stare at nothing for quite long, been a while since a book got me like this
More and more, these people that are lvls 6+ are just given the room to just do things because they can figure it out and they already know what they want to do.
Should it be the same for those in the lower level? More freedom for exploration or more structure and competition?
It’s been half a year and i still can’t stop thinking about this essay from @FarzaTV
I just did a thesis on residencies for ambitious people (the lvls 6+ accd to this) but the question still remains for how we get more lvls 2&3 and turn them to lvl 6

Today I learned the people who make pure silicon are basically the Samurai sword makers and master blacksmiths of our era and that even if China gets Taiwan they wont be able to make chips anywhere near as good as the US can because we have the purest quartz in the world.
@deedydas Would be very interested to see if and how these people connect with each other, if they just end up hiring people like themselves or recommending each other, and so maybe those that did not win but competed with them also end up in similar trajectories
