Today we learned the simple yet oh so fun game called ‘101’! Add the value on the die or multiply it by 10 and then add it, with the goal of reaching 101 without going over before all other teams! So much math, and a little competition, too! @CarletonHeights @OCDSB

It’s been another great week of math! We love starting out our math block with number talks and discussing our problem solving strategies. Oh, and games are always fun, too! Here we’re playing ‘Tic-tac-ten’ - rolling dice and trying to be the first one to make a line of 10!
