They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

It is with great sadness that we share the news that Graham Thorpe, MBE, has passed away.
There seem to be no appropriate words to describe the deep shock we feel at Graham's death.
It has been a delight to live & work in Sydney. Iโve been lucky enough to do amazing things, work with amazing people and meet some of the most friendly and collegiate Sydneysiders possible. Representing the UK in NSW has been an honour and I leave it in safe hands with @EdKitt
We were joined by Deputy High Commissioner @NickCrouchUK to farewell our Deputy Consul General for NSW @JCookFCDO.
Thank you, Jonathan for your leadership and best of luck with everything. We look forward to working alongside our new DCG @EdKitt. ๐
Visiting @QtopiaSydney offered an opportunity to learn about LGBTQ+ history and culture in Australia and taught me so much. Thank you Elaine and George for showing us around.
Our Sydney team recently visited Qtopia, Sydney's first museum of queer history and culture, to learn more about the museum and its mission.
๐ Thank you Qtopia Sydney for sharing this empowering space with us! @LouCantillon@jcookfcdo
Our new Foreign Secretary @DavidLammy reflects modern multicultural Britain, the Britain I am proud to represent.
All of us @ukinaustralia look forward to working with him to tackle the global challenges he speaks of & to ensure security & prosperity at home.
@SenatorWong
Yesterday we had students from @ComdtRCDS visit NSW. We were lucky enough to be hosted at @nswparliament in both the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council to hear about the important work they do directly from the Speaker, Deputy President and members of both chambers.
The UK is delighted to endorse Australiaโs bid to host #COP31 in partnership with Pacific nations. ๐ค
We are focused on supporting Small Island Developing States on the frontline of climate change and look forward to building on our #UKAustralia climate partnership if confirmed.
This Yom HaShoah we gathered with @NSWJBD to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Holocaust in Hungary. A powerful reminder of the human cost of the Holocaust as people read the names of their family members who had been murdered.
Inspiring way to start the day with the @AuroraEducation launch of their 2024 RISE Impact Report. An amazing initiative that is providing the evidence and methodology to enhance indigenous educational success.
I have been to a number of #ANZAC commemorations at the Kokoda Track Memorial Walkway. This yearโs service was perhaps the most poignant with Captain Brickacek from the RAN telling of his time in Afghanistan and his troopers who were killed. #LestWeForget
The UK and Australia share so much history but perhaps nowhere is this shared heritage more important than in our military history and sacrifice. Perhaps the most moving service that we join is the Australian War NSW service where we acknowledge those left behind. #LestWeForget
After a challenging weekend for Sydney nothing better symbolises the tenacity, resilience, pride, hope and sorrow of the city than the Opera House honouring those who were caught up in Saturdayโs awful attack.
It was a somber occasion today as we commemorated the sacrifice of the Merchant Navy in WW1 and WW2 and remembered the victims of yesterdayโs terrible attack. #LestWeForget
