There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy. Herbarium curator, crafter, Christian, dancer when nobody’s looking.
@tacobell Been trying to get in touch several times over the last few months without reply, both via social media and through your online form. What gives?
The word 'chemical' tends to make us worry, but everything is chemicals (even minerals, even water!), and we should definitely use curiosity over fear when trying to learn what's what.
@HotTopic I've been trying to get in touch w/ customer service & no reply. Can I get some help via Twitter? Tried to DM but I can't message you there unless you are following my account. Any suggestions?
@AllOfItWNYC@BrianLehrer@manhattankayak@jennylewis@WNYC My mom just donated a kidney to a stranger, in honor of her cousin, who needs one (because they weren't a match). Her cousin now is eligible to receive a kidney as soon as a match is found. She's doing well & as a retired surgtech, she absolutely loved the whole process 😁
@_larrylin_ Thank you for this. I've come to realize that using words like "plain" leads to (or describes existing) lack of humble attitude. I've stopped using it to support my beliefs; it's not necessary, anyway. Complex, humble meditation can lead to same conclusions as a "plain" reading.
@VanceCrowe@BurgerKing Haha! I never let it go when a process doesn't work as promised... just a girl out here asking companies to be accountable, one app at a time 😆
Hey @BurgerKing, I've been unable to get help from any of your customer reps in spite of reaching out several times via the online form and phone. How do I get ahold of someone to talk with for real?
@kawaiilovesarah For some odd reason I collect kettles - keep upgrading and never being able to get rid of the old ones! Now have (at least) four stovetop kettles (at home) and two electric (at our offices)
@Herrschners How do I reduce the number of emails I get from you without unsubscribing? I don't need two marketing emails from Herrschners a day; my inbox is overflowing. Please help!
Hey #botany Twitter - anyone know what this is? Small, hard and six-ridged, there were a bunch of them found near bird droppings on a friend’s porch in North Carolina.
Imagine if you never saw a tree lose it’s leaves and you did not understand the cycle of seasons.
As the cold winter approaches you would become concerned that the trees will no longer have leaves and it has died.
We live in a world of cycles—a majority of ones—we do not know.
The message we communicate to students when we don't accommodate mental health issues is that the "real world" won't accept their mental illness. Whether that's true or not, I don't know. But if it is true, that's not the real world I want to usher any student into. 5/5
