Personally, I am very happy with this project because I enjoyed and learned a lot while developing it, and I know it can help many students around the world. I think it can be worth spending $5 to check the internal consistency of a paper before submission. Either way, the prompts I started with are available on my GitHub, so you can use them directly on your own platforms and generate the reports on your own computer for free.

Finally, this project has cost me a few hundred dollars, basically from testing the reports. There is still a lot of room for improvement, and after this release, I will continue working on it.

P.S. The birds that appear in the RIGOR logo were inspired by the Nazca Lines, ancient geoglyphs made by ancient Peruvians in Nazca, Peru. Over the past few months, while working on this project, I have been watching some documentaries about them, which I found very interesting.

Also, Qhawarina is a word in Quechua (the language of the Incas) that means “to observe.” It is the name of a larger project I am working on, and RIGOR is now part of it (https://t.co/4CTlkvTstg).

This project was born while I was using prompts to evaluate the internal consistency of my own papers, whether the mathematics behind them was correct, whether the results were novel, and how to frame them against the current literature (those prompts are on my GitHub: https://t.co/YDypiVpW7p). I was finding huge improvements in my papers with those "adversarial" reviews, so the idea naturally evolved in something more mature as producing AI-made audit reports, but looking for ways to verify the AI's answers and optimize token use.

TLDR: Specialized AI reports from $5 and General Audit reports from $10, using your own API, for social science papers.
