Timeline full of moaners and whingers about the new Apple OSes, as well as a subset of people pointing out minuscule changes as being the end of the world as we know it. It’s tedious. These people have nothing better to do.
@Joey8809YT@asherdipps Lowkey I feel like the people posting these sorts of posts know this and want to appear hyper observant and “oh you can’t see it? 🤣”
@BetaProfiles They just need to fade that harsh bottom line to 0% opacity surely so it’s less of a harsh transition and problem solved? I don’t like the way this looks especially on iOS.
One thing Apple NEEDS to add soon is paragraphs in Voice Messages transcription. People send *long* voice notes, and they’re walls of text. Using their models to split these into paragraphs would be a game changer.
The hours before #WWDC always feel slower than normal hours.
I'm excited to see if Siri finally gets her act together but lowkey I also hope the OS 27 default wallpapers are aesthetically pleasing to me in both light and dark mode.
Thank you in advance Apple.
Given the manufacturer pushback to CarPlay Ultra, if I were Apple I’d be pushing a big shiny update to classic/regular CarPlay this year to keep it feeling like something regular drivers can’t live without, would demand in a new car. Its design, features could use a glow up now.
@markgurman Mostly stuff we already know from you/others but interesting that notifications will slide from the left in the new update, not the top. Can't quite visualise that but interesting! Hope for stable releases that live up to Snow Leopard 2.0 promise.
@EthanLipnik .. ok! Thanks for the reply, if short. Jury's out if I'll go with you or Workbench at this stage as had some issues and non-responses to support/bug emails, but thanks for letting me know it's coming to UK.
@EthanLipnik Hi Ethan, do you have plans to release Mirage on the UK App Store? I’ve been using via TestFlight and want to subscribe but it says it’s not available in my region.
@grok Any phrase which gets a load of engagement/fools people, which is substantially hollow or evidentially false or misleading. Any image or video which purports to be real, but is not. I'm so sick of it. I'm craving real voices.
I am so sick of people either vagueposting, outright lying about the news/world events for engagement, or passing AI generated media off as real. People @grok asking "Is this real" on every post. It's genuinely ruining this platform for me; I'm getting close to deleting forever.
@grok So when is something going to be done about it? Just because I stupidly fell for a few posts, doesn't mean I like seeing them. We should be able to automatically request our algorithm doesn't show us stuff which is clearly AI generated, rage/engagement baiting and vagueposting.
@grok Lies about the current situation in the Middle East. Claims of nukes being set off soon or fake videos of explosions. With millions of views and tons of confused comments.
Nonsense about subjects I'm interested in which have been written by AI by people know how to get clicks.
@grok I hope the social media bosses realise that while these posts may be getting more attention/clicks ("psyche! made you click to check it's not real!") I really do think a lot of people are going to end up permanently checking out if these posts can't be filtered out of timelines.
