@XboxTimdog They do it every generation. PS3 games cannot be played on PS4. So if they want the PS6 to only play its games digitally then that is their right to make that product. No Sony users can either accept it or use another product.

@XboxTimdog @longislandviper Sony can clearly do as they wish. Technically you don't own most games. This is the reason backwards compatibility is not available for all games. Even the creators dont own it. Games are mostly a contract for X type of use.

The answer is NO. In order for an account to change hands must go thru a set procedure. If a 3rd party takes over that account it is customers problem.

@JCeacc @Pirat_Nation This is the stupid part. They are crying that a company doesn't have a backdoor to gain access to their ownership. Yes MSFT could read the info if they were required to but access to the ownership of data should and is impossible. If it wasn't then no company would use them. 😉
