@jasonfried@levelsio I think in a few years all of these interfaces will converge into one thing: voice. Then all interfaces will be invisible, youโll just be talking to an invisible butler that can control everything (temp, lights, doors, dishwashers, etc)
Hi everyone! I've created a new Laravel package designed to radically speed up your application development. You can complete new features in minutes instead of days, by generating all of the files required just by a single command!

React is the wrong tool for this era.
Ecosystem and libraries are less important than ever.
Good performance by *default* means more than ever. Choose Vue.
@ste_bau Looks awesome!
โApplication terminatesโ when using Octane does this mean when the request terminates or when the worker terminates (which could span many requests)?
It is with some personal surprise that, after 30 years as an atheist, Iโve come to say:
I believe in one God,
the Father almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all things visible and invisible.
I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ,
the Only Begotten Son of God,
born of the Father before all ages.
โฆ
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son
@ste_bau Options API was so good. I get that composition is more terse but the mental model was so easy with the Options API ๐ with composition itโs like we just converged with React, Svelte, Solid, and everyone else
@cmuratori@ThePrimeagen In the case of dependencies, package managers have lock files (package-lock.json or composer.lock) which locks dependencies to a specific version
In this case, code can theoretically work for more than 5 years provided we never upgrade the dependency versions ๐
