🏆Merit Cups!🏆 Merit cups for the Autumn term were awarded today to the winning form in each year group. Congrats to 7C, 8Z, 9J, 10T, 11C and Garnet students in Year 12 & 13. They are now displayed with house colours in the trophy cabinet in reception 🙌🏻🎉👏🏻

🌻 Last summer Mrs Sinacore planted the seeds for our sunflower competition. Results were tight but the winners were Citrine with Topaz 2nd and Amethyst 3rd. The second photo shows our actual flowers which are just slightly less impressive than those in the first photo! 🟡🔵🟣

The very first house competition of the year begins tomorrow with inter-house football and netball for year 9. Good luck to all houses, don’t forget your pe kits! 🟢🔴⚪️🟡🔵🟣

Jade house received the House Cup this week in their house assembly. Assemblies are taking place all week with updates about competitions, new house leadership teams and current points totals! Can’t wait to get the competitions started! 🎉

The Year 7 MFL Spelling Bee was a huge success this morning. We have some very talented spellers amongst us! Well done to all of the finalists and especially 1st place 🟢 2nd place 🟢 and 3rd place 🔴. Also well done to the rest of Year 7 who supported their houses with gusto! 👏🏻

The house drama competition starts today and you have until Friday to enter. There are currently less than 100 points between 5th and 6th so 50 points for 1st place could make a real difference! Get your entries to Mr Devine ASAP! 🎭

The unifrog comp has started & Mrs Sinacore has been keeping track of all the activities completed! Currently it’s Amethyst 🟣 1st, Zircon ⚪️ 2nd, Citrine 🟡 3rd, Topaz 🔵 4th, Jade 🟢 5th & Garnet 6th 🔴. Only 12% separates 1st place & 6th, so it is still all up for grabs! 🐸

Very exciting meeting today with all of the Heads of Houses. There are 6 competitions planned before the end of term & we have LOADS of exciting plans for the new year! 🥳😁 Watch this space and look out for your 6th form House Captains so you can support your house! 🟣🟡🔵⚪️🟢🔴
