@Thekstatefan Listed in order (left to right) of most clear cut or debatable
Clear cut: CB, RB, Returner, K/P, WR, OL
Debatable: LB, DT, QB, Edge, S, TE
@hoopinghollerin Disagree on the Chet take, but that is 100% the right approach to having an opinion. Don’t be so locked into your opinion that you are unwilling to be swayed by new information.
@EMAWCaleb How are players not completely alienated by these comments? For 3 years now he has blamed the results on his roster. And continues to state the staff are winners and will get it figured out.
This is supposed to be a team, coaches and players together as one.
@TheRealMasonV Exactly. Other coaches and programs are navigating this environment just fine. My guess is they have an actual strategy.
This staff crumples and throws away their plan after every year… Blaming your circumstances is loser mentality.
@BoozeCougs Do you think it helps or hurts the likelihood the league receives an at large birth to the playoff in 2026 if 2 teams with depleted staffs & rosters get blown out in bowls?
Perception matters & people will gladly forget those circumstances when crafting their narrative.
@jasonscheer For a conference that doesn’t get respect from the 4-letter network and CFP committee, do you risk 2 depleted staffs and rosters looking bad in a meaningless bowl game? Only furthering a narrative that could be detrimental to getting multiple teams in next season?
@LifeofFitz What are the financial ramifications to the conference for having KSU and ISU play in those lower level bowls vs getting a 2nd playoff birth?
Sankey fights harder for the 7th best SEC team to make the playoff, than Yormark does for the Big 12’s 2nd best.
@jlkurtz The Big 12 office sitting idle while the league gets relegated to 1 bid status 2 years in a row, while having a clearly deserving 2nd team is infuriating.
But sure, worry about fining KSU and ISU to protect bowl partners. Talk about stepping over dollars to pick up dimes.
@soaboutthatstat@awfulannouncing It’s not the same at all. The other networks pretend to be impartial while giving significantly more attention, focus, and praise to the conferences they are more heavily invested in. And in the case of the 4-letter network, having control of the CFP.
@EMAWCaleb@Crazy_Faith_26 Avg rushing per game
First 4 games: 24 attempts, 109 yards (4.5/carry)
Last 3 games: 41 attempts, 191 yards4.6/carry)
You can go look at the corresponding TOP. But that is complimentary football and it’s no coincidence we should be 3-0 in the last 3 and 0-4 in the first 4.
@BigBHanley That play illustrated everything that is keeping him and this team from being good. What you call guts, I would call awareness, toughness and heart.
@KellisRobinett It sure looked like he locked on Swanson from the snap… Unless the plan was to stare down the right side of the field while dropping 9 yards, then turn and throw to Oakley, he was never making that throw even if it was blocked perfectly.
@DerekYoungKSO You have been winning the LOS and elect to not run the ball on 2nd and 3rd down. Similar decision on the Avery first down pick, run the ball, get the clock moving and then see how you want to attack from there.
Coaches lost this game in the margins. The players did enough.
