@KTVBKatija @westadaschools I have kids in WASD. Letter comes after the exposure anyway so it doesn't do any good. The letters are like masks, theater. Look at BSD vs WASD rates and be informed. King fear-monger David Pate is spinning like usual.
@Jaimelynelle1@strayhorsedad@drpatesblog@westadaschools I guess he didn't like me calling him out. He blocked me. What a stand-up guy that is on the governors covid working group. Pathetic person yo block a member of the public when they are a quasi public representative. Weak.
@strayhorsedad@drpatesblog@westadaschools What dangers of denial do you refer? Like that drowning and vehicle accidents are much more of a risk to my kids than covid? You mean that kind of "denial"? Pate backed his buddy Epperly opening bars while blaming kids. Yeah, I'm the "divisive people", okay.
@drpatesblog@westadaschools Your war against WASD is just as bad as your track record of being correct about your war on WASD. Where's your war on bars, grocery stores, big box stores, movie theaters, gyms, etc. Your narrative and blaming is old, tired, and divisive.
@drpatesblog Maybe you should respect these folks decisions to not get a vaccine that is apparently not very effective at preventing infection/spread instead of parroting the party line to terminate them.
@drpatesblog@westadaschools Let's see, nothing more risky than a bunch of vaxd adults getting together. Omicron spreads right through the vaxd, 2x vaxd, boosted, etc. The kids risk is still negligible. The vaxd adults are still at a higher risk, from other vaxd adults. See how silly this is getting.
@drpatesblog You know what I'd like to see fact checked? Why isn't the news full of reports of unvaxd covid recovered secondary breakthrough infections? It's clear covid punches right through the vaxd immunity in droves. But, what about natural immunity. As usual, silence.
@idaho_tim @drpatesblog That's what Pate does though. He's a blamer and accuser, succeeds in polarization, and who is clearly more knowledgeable and better than the leadership of WASD, BSU, and apparently the State now.
@dmahoney@drpatesblog Good points, but I don't think hypotheticals are helping at all, rather it just drives the fear when people don't take the time to realize it's a hypothetical with no basis in fact. And, the graph assumes a fatality risk of 0.8%, so is that CFR or IFR?
@SirKnightArroyo@drpatesblog So, where's the fact it is 50% more transmissible and has the same mortality, you have a citation that is "actual fact". Those are nothing more than hypothetical, ie not real.
@drpatesblog@morrisoncenter @juliemadsenmd Eat and drink at a show, so it'll be just like restaurants and bars then. Or, does covid only strike at the arts? People have lost critical thinking skills.
