Saint Joseph's Athletics mourns the passing of Chris DiJulia.

A fixture on the Saint Joseph's sidelines over three decades, DiJulia was on the Hawks' women's basketball bench for many of the program's biggest moments. Invited by then-head coach Jim Foster to sit on the Saint Joseph's bench, DiJulia was a part of three Atlantic 10 championships, more than a dozen Big 5 titles and over 20 postseason appearances. Born with cerebral palsy, DiJulia was recognized for his infectious spirit in 2001-02 with the creation of the Chris DiJulia Inspirational Award by the women's basketball program. The son of longtime athletic director Don DiJulia, Chris was inducted into the Saint Joseph's University Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in the spring of 2018.

Nick Mikolajchak (@Nick_M_3) is an absolute psychopath and the ultimate competitor. After getting released this last (with a 3.63 ERA in 3 seasons at AAA), it was apparent he needed to find a way to reclaim his ability to punch guys out and limit walks. He did just that in the Atlantic League (1.93 ERA in 18.2 IP w/ 27 Ks/8 BBs). He found some juice on the heater again and sat mid 90s T97 for York.

In his Pro Day bullpen he did something he never does - sit 94 T95 (we should expect +3 in game). He displayed an electric starter like arsenal and will be building as a starter for the remainder of the offseason.

This type of stuff belongs back in affiliate ball.
