@MarkJCarney Sure, Canadians have. Mulroney and then Harper were the PMS then. These guys didn’t imagine it, they made it happen. Liberal’s have been imagining it for 11 years and put us in a recession. Which we never imagined, from the man who promised to be our saviour. Ha, ha, ha.
@liberal_party Speed is a relative thing, with absolutely no meaning to it. In 15 months Canada has gone from being fairly well off economically to being in a recession. I guess that is speedy, even if it is in the wrong direction.
@kinsellawarren He looks in this picture, like he is asking for divine intervention? He is, standing over a hot grill that may be why he need the intervention?
If our economist in Canada don’t recognize the gdp drop in the second quarter of 2026, now three quarters of negative gdp numbers as recessionary? Then why pay any attention to these numbers at all? The economy isn’t a golf game, there are no gimmies in economics.
The one big advantage to Canada playing South Africa in LA, we won’t have to see the PM at the game. Although their home is in the US, maybe there is no escaping them on tv?
@RatedR4Robynne Carney is certainly playing some sort of game! Not being serious about getting down to business in negotiating with Trump, may make him and Canadians all losers of this game. A game we really can’t afford to lose .
@JeanLucMarches1 Figures don’t lie but liars can manipulate figures, like changing the Coast Guard to being a part of our defence ministry. Could the RCMP or local police be next to get our defence percentage up.
@Myself9752465 Most Canadians still have a mind of their own. The Liberal minions seem to be gaining some independent thinking. After all their illustrious leader says his Liberal government is going to make America Great Again!
Canadians realize buying American reduces their food costs.
@christywhy9 Just the opposite, by forcing NATO to re- arm, he has once again solidified the US as the leaders of the Free World. Does anyone think another leader has the intestinal fortitude to accomplish close to that? I may not like him as a person but sure as hell like him as a leader.
