@FastlifeCass @DavidDTSS It depends on the money differential. But in a league with vets under contract, available salary in entry year is not infinite. This only works if get rid of rookie payscale. Other thing to consider is not just salary: endorsement deals have different value in different markets.

@michaelshermer Well written. My caveat/criticism is that countries exist in intnl enviro where war/conflict is always a possibility, thus desirable to retain certain skills/capabilities (ie shipbuilding or certain mfg) even at cost of "propping up" or intervening in market. Not all emergent 1/2

Cardiorenal AKI being prerenal is one of my fav teach pts that often blows interns' minds. But pre/intra/post is symmetrical & easy to remember & I'm not convinced the term is the prob.
