@swahzey@Eyesandvibes open your eyes man. the kid will have a nice European mid toe career and be a value to the team. maybe not startinh but an awesome option of the bench
@Kaybmagic1@Eyesandvibes just because I feel his stock was already higher and being recognized. when I see risers I think who has raised their stock relative to where they were viewed coming in. freeman is the better talent no doubt but I think sebs stock netted a bigger gain
@FavianRenkel gotta make @barstoolsports money to do that. they have to find a way to make covering them unavoidable. and I am a Riverhounds fan and love USL. but it has to be compelling enough to make not doing it stupid.
that's a bit of an overreaction.
what allowed cape Verde to do so will is the elites ina ility to break down a block. they want to continue as if the game is open and cv took advantage of that and had an awesome goalie. type of football completely different and one is scalable to elite (how we played) and one gives you a punchers chance in any game (cv) kudos to them for mastering it.
maybe we can learn a little something and be a little more willing to go pragmatic up against the elites.
our strategy was to punch the other team in the face on the first 15 min... last night we took a massive uppert in min 1 and never recovered.
no the play of the team has seen meaningful change. less than this disaster. this is status quo.
however what got us @usmnt fans so excited with the how we played. last night they looked like a team under previous managers. they saw the Belgium unis and they came out firing and we turtled.
another less and another thing to overcome. but trying to find a positive it wasn't a skill issue holding us back. we are NOT as deep as we need to be and the drop off to our second squad is too great, but last night they had the ability on the field to win. for whatever reason we played timid from the jump.
learn from it... get better... rome wasn't built in a day.
