We're moving away from a few LLMs calling the shots and entering a world where countless customized micro-models rule the scene. This shift will make things really interesting for players in data software, applications, and cloud infrastructure.
Despite the hype around generative AI, enterprise adoption remains in its early stages due to adoption hurdles like data privacy and reliability. Large banks and organizations are still in the evaluation stage and may take 2-3 years to implement GenAI at scale.
Looking at Microsoft's 2023 outlook and their focus on ML & AI, it's clear that this will be a growth driver for their software offerings. Their ability to cross-sell their suite of products across many categories will continue to be a dominant force in the market.

@echve110n It depends - from a business point of view, it is important to have full visibility of the total cost base, as content is not always user-generated, hence for free.
AI generated content will bring the marginal cost of consumption down to zero. We are currently seeing a progression from text to images. It may take several years, but video will be next - no doubt.
@echve110n Only user generated content is free though - see TikTok which combines user-generated content with an algorithmic feed. AI generated content is just the next step beyond TikTok, generating new content from existing content.
