The tragedy of Russian history has always been the same. We are some of the kindest, smartest, most creative, most principled and most honourable people who have been ruled for centuries by the most evil, sadistic, corrupt, megalomaniacal dregs of our own society.
Two key points from the past week that need reinforcing:
1) It’s not ‘racist’ to disbelieve someone who’s telling lies.
2) You don’t have to agree with a word I say to support my right to have my own opinions.
On Monday, I said I didn’t believe Meghan Markle in her Oprah interview. I’ve had time to reflect on this opinion, and I still don’t. If you did, OK. Freedom of speech is a hill I’m happy to die on. Thanks for all the love, and hate. I’m off to spend more time with my opinions.
