@spencerhawes00@Mariners Been saying it for years...
As much as the fans and city deserved this run, a part of me is sick that the owners got to enjoy it and I'm sure only strengthened their belief that they're doing it the right way.
@bunsmcgee123 @Bp3rdue@ohiotate It’s incredible how badly you missed my point. Not once did I say UW was any good or deserved to be ranked. They had done nothing to prove that. The point was that the AP is useless and none of those other teams had proven anything either.
@bunsmcgee123 @Bp3rdue@ohiotate 2/ Turns out the two ranked teams USF beat aren’t any good.
I’m not saying UW has any good wins, you should be able to say the same about all these other teams. The whole point is the poll is extremely flawed and based way too much on its own flawed preseason rankings.
@bunsmcgee123 @Bp3rdue@ohiotate 1/ Come on, Clemson isn’t the 33rd best team, let alone the 3rd. We’re in week 7 discussing the flaws of the poll and you’re using preseason rankings as your rationale? SC is 3-3, try again. You’re really using the transitive property to find a quality win for Tenn?
@bunsmcgee123 @Bp3rdue@ohiotate For argument’s sake, let’s say UW plays South Carolina in your fantasy world and gets smoked. How does that make South Carolina a good win for any of the teams that I mentioned?
@BeatinTheBookie@WestCoastCFB@petenakos Williams complete 80% against the best defense in the country. Was far from his best game but “shitting his pants” is a pretty insane statement
@Bp3rdue@ohiotate Neither have LSU, Tennessee, Notre Dame, Mizzou, Vandy, USF, Utah, or Nebraska and all have losses worse than UW. Doesn’t seem to be a metric the voters are all that concerned about. Don’t really care, keep winning and they’ll be fine, but the AP vote is beyond broken.
