@pentaclethra After doing several NEH’s and meeting teachers from all over the country, I realized just how out of sync the NY schedule is with most of the country. A lot of PD happens in June. I’m not necessarily complaining, but it would be nice if all schools were on similar schedules.
@VandenVogue I can’t believe there isn’t some zoning ordinance that would require the owner to tone down their display. I feel so bad for the neighbors!
@SarcasticLauren @VandenVogue I like the team effort approach. It annoys me to no end that the N. Greenbush ShopRite cashiers seem to have a “no bagging” approach. I always chip in to help, but when they are done scanning my groceries, most of them just stand there waiting for me to finish without helping.
Enough talk about “bikini bodies”. Fall is almost here; now you need a body with a detachable pumpkin head that you can throw at your foes riding on horseback.
My author friend Brad McLelland has a new book coming out this spring that's a middle grade horror book--perfect for fans of Stranger Things. Check out this interview and cover reveal, especially my teacher friends and friends with middle schoolers...https://t.co/c6SniGxBrL...
@pentaclethra I was fortunate to have easy plans to adjust for remote. Not happy to find out that the bus drivers being out was planned, especially since it’s verboten for teachers to take a day off prior to a long weekend.
@VandenVogue It’s disappointing. My TV taste is hardly highbrow, and I thought this show would be perfect for me. I’m sticking to Bravo for my escapist fluff!🤣
@VandenVogue I loved the fashions, but even Lily Collins’s superior eyebrows couldn’t get me to watch past the second episode. I just thought the show was bad and Emily unlikeable.
Teachers, to start off 2022, I'm offering two free 30-minute virtual appearances. I can talk about writing, share a preview of I Survived in progress, or whatever you would like. No limit to the number of students, can do grades 3-8. RT to enter. I will notify winners 1/10.
@VandenVogue Right? The most horrible thing is that their deaths were completely preventable. And then she wants to gloss over their vaccination status? If a few people read the article and are influenced to change their views on vaccination, that’s a win.
GIVEAWAY TIME AGAIN! Next weekend I will give away a signed Stephen King book to one lucky winner! Just Follow and RT to be eligible. Good luck, everyone!
