Days of Rain is such a beautiful album. I've gotten to listen to it three times over the weekend, and I'm just blown away by how it turned out--compositionally and sonically @HomeAstronomy

And it's all minuscule things for me, like the snare coming down 2.5 decibels, or the vocals coming up half a decibel on this one syllable, or turning the 200Hz band on one of the guitar tracks down a notch. Crazy shit

Wrapping up all your final mixes for an album is a slow descent into madness. Things just change every time you sit down to work. It's a cycle that could really go on forever, lmao

It's been awesome in Seattle so far--such a different feel compared to North Carolina. Very scenic and artsy. I'm looking forward to comparing downtown to some non-tourist areas tomorrow.
